This combo tour gives you the best of the Yucatán's aquatic world: you will snorkel in a freshwater cenote — the mystical underground sinkholes that the ancient Maya held sacred — and then explore the Puerto Morelos coral reef in the warm Caribbean Sea.
The contrast between the two environments is extraordinary: the eerie, cathedral-like stillness of the cenote versus the colourful, sun-lit tropical reef teeming with fish. Both are accessible without any diving certification and are suitable for all ages and swimming abilities.
Itinerary
- 08:00 — Pick-up from Puerto Morelos
- 08:45 — Arrival at cenote; equipment and briefing
- 09:00 — Cenote snorkeling (60 min)
- 10:15 — Transfer back to Puerto Morelos marina
- 10:45 — Boat departure to reef
- 11:00 — Reef snorkeling (60 min)
- 12:15 — Return to dock
