Discover the underwater world in one morning
The Try Scuba program is designed for anyone who wants to experience diving for the very first time without committing to a full course. No prior experience is required.
After a brief theory introduction, you will do your first dive at less than 5 metres, in a confined-water session (shallow water) right off the shore or in the protected reef of Cozumel, accompanied by your SSI instructor at all times.
This experience takes place in the waters of Cozumel, and you will be supervised at all times by your certified instructor. If you're looking to dive deeper, the next step is the Basic Diver (up to 12 m).
What will you learn?
- Basic diving equipment: how to wear and use it
- Breathing underwater with a regulator
- Basic underwater signals and communication
- Equalizing ear pressure
- Experiencing neutral buoyancy
- 1 open-water dive with your instructor
