The Basic Diver program offers a more in-depth experience than Try Scuba. You will dedicate a full day to learning the basics of diving: theory, a confined-water session right off the shore, and one open-water dive.
No certification is required to participate — this program is perfect for those who want to experience diving in a structured way and pick up basic skills without committing to a full certification course.
At the end of the program you will receive an SSI Basic Diver recognition card that validates your participation.
What will you learn?
- Basic diving theory: physics and physiology
- Equipment assembly and pre-dive safety checks
- Confined-water skills: mask clearing, regulator recovery, buoyancy
- Basic underwater signals and communication
- 1 supervised open-water dive
- Safe ascent and surface protocols
