Your first diving certification in 1 day
The SSI Scuba Diver is the entry-level diving certification, equivalent to the first half of the Open Water Diver. It is ideal for people with limited time who want an internationally recognized certification in just 1 day.
With this certification you can dive to 12 metres accompanied by a certified SSI Divemaster anywhere in the world. It is the perfect starting point if you want to begin diving without committing to the full course right away.
Afterwards you can complete the Open Water Diver level without repeating any of the modules already passed during the Scuba Diver.
What will you learn?
- Diving theory fundamentals (physics, physiology, equipment)
- Basic dive planning and decompression tables
- Confined-water skills: equipment assembly, mask clearing, regulator recovery
