The SSI Open Water Diver is the most widely recognized diving certification worldwide. In just 3–4 days you will go from complete beginner to certified diver, able to explore the oceans to a depth of 18 metres.
The course combines online self-study, pool training and open-water dives in the Cozumel reef or Puerto Morelos. Once certified, your SSI card is recognized globally — you can dive anywhere in the world with any dive operator.
This is the full entry-level certification and the gateway to all advanced SSI programs.
