Become a safer, more capable diver
The SSI Diver Stress and Rescue course teaches you to recognize, prevent and manage stress-related situations and diving emergencies. It is widely considered the most important and rewarding course a recreational diver can take.
You will learn how to help yourself and others in difficult situations — from managing a panicked diver to performing an underwater search and rescue. The course includes 3 confined-water sessions, 3 open-water dives, and simulated scenarios with victims both on the boat and from shore.
This course is required before advancing to any SSI professional program.
